| Kalea (n) bizi is a research project that interprets and experiments ideas to create more human cities. We investigate urban life in expeditions through the neighborhoods of Donostia-San Sebastián using a toolbox that will help us creating experiences, through the practice of workshops and prototypes. A development of experiences in the public space capable of stimulating the transformation and renovation of the public space of the city.

We want to transform different public spaces that can be found in the city, by activating these places or by creating new spaces where people can rest and move there,  inviting them to enjoy themselves freely in these places, instead of throw them away. For this, we placed a "box" on Egia, a neighborhood of San Sebastian. During a month, this box have included workshops, ephemeral activities, suburban expeditions, meetings, crafts, research, chats... and have provided mobile folding furniture that brings people around the neighborhood closer together and be able to work with their participation in the public space.
